I recently hung out alone with my Fiance and his best friend. Normally his friends girlfriend is there too. I could not believe just how immature they were acting. My fiance never acts like that with me. There was nothing serious about anything they were saying. How does your SO act around their friends?

extremely immature also. Lol. It’s almost embarassing. Takes everything I have not to lecture him in front of them!

My DH acts exactly the same around me and around his friends, but that also happens to be silly and not very serious most of the time and that’s fine with me, I’m not a serious person. Your SO probably doesn’t act silly around you because you obviously don’t find it amusing.

my Fiance acts more mature with everyone else. But than, so do I! We like being silly and joking around with each other.

Yep… When my husband and his best friend get together it’s like they are kids all over again. They even have their own language. I just ignore it, they only see each other but once a year and they have been friends since they were 7.

He acts pretty much exactly the same with his friends as he does with just me. I mean, he does cuddle with them or use cute nicknames… so I guess he’s MORE immature with me. 🙂 That might be a feature of him being a geek though. His friends are all very nice gentlemen. There have been a few times when I’ve been in his hometown alone (where they all live) and texted his friends & their wives to see if anyone’s free and ended up hanging out with just the guys. So maybe this group isn’t typical… but I definitely prefer it to other boyfriends I’ve had in the past who acted like brats around their friends.

Stupid and annoying. I’m like, “who the heck are you?” Hahaha. I think it’s a guy thing. 😛

My husband is the same with everyone. I couldn’t be with someone who puts on a mask for certain people or groups. I need authenticity.

He’s my favorite overgrown child, around me or any of our friends. He doesn’t like to “adult” outside of work. 🙂

Ok WB is being dumb and won’t let me edit… but obviously that should say he *doesn’t* cuddle with his friends. LOL

My SO is a little more on edge around others, like he is slightly less relaxed and chill and tends to be a bit more serious, he still jokes but not as silly. For the most part he’s pretty similar though.

My husband is super nerdy and kind of immature with his friends. I accept it lol.
