I upgraded from a Mac Mini to M3 MacBook Air. When I try to run MS Office, it nags me to get Office 365. How do I get it to recognize that I have Office 21?

If you installed Microsoft 365 applications, either from Microsoft, or from Apple’s Mac App Store, then they will expect the Microsoft 365 subscription license. If you have downloaded and installed Office 2021 for Mac and entered a new, single-purchase license key, then that should have activated your Office 2021 for Mac suite successfully.
